On the evening of 12.6.12 we were able to get a few good photos of our little guy via 3D ultrasound. His hands were in front of his face 98% of the time, and he was nestled in against the placenta in a way that didn't allow us to see everything, but we managed to get a few good glimpses. I am so excited to meet our son. I can't wait to hold him in my arms and and just stare at him in awe of this beautiful life Greg & I have created. I am going to cherish every single moment, as I know how quickly he will grow. Our big day is getting closer, and I keep imagining what it will feel like to see him for the very first time...my heart swells with happiness just thinking about it. : )

20 Week Ultrasound Update
I had my 20 week ultrasound a couple of weeks ago, and forgot to create a new post during all of the excitement! We confirmed that we are in fact having a baby boy! During the ultrasound our little guy was sucking his thumb, and it was so incredibly sweet to see. He his healthy & happy in there, and measuring a full two weeks ahead in growth. The ultrasound Doc was smiling and laughing when he told us that the baby already weighed 1 pound and 1 ounce, which is apparently rather large!
Here are some ultrasound photos of our little man on this special day : )

18 weeks & 2 days
Today, I am 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I am feeling pretty good overall. I have been a little tired, and have had quite a bit of back pain, especially when lying down, or when standing up after lying down or sitting. I am also feeling lots of little "twitches" in my belly this week. I am pretty sure it's the baby, but can't be positive just yet. I can't wait for these little twitches to turn into big kicks! : )
In other news, I started a prenatal yoga class 3 weeks ago, and am going once per week. I absolutely love it. My teacher, Lynn, is teaching us poses and breath work that are beneficial to both the pregnancy, and the birth. Since I am going to try my hardest to have an all natural water birth, I believe this class will be a powerful tool during my labor!

12 weeks and 1 day
7/25/12
Today we had our NT scan, and all of the measurements indicate a healthy baby! I also had blood drawn, and should have those results back in a week. Today, our little sweet pea is measuring at 13 weeks instead of 12 and 1 day, but the doctor has decided to keep my due date the same. So, it looks like I may deliver in late January instead of early February.
Here is a profile shot with a hand above...what a cutie pie!
Here is a photo of our little one from behind...looks like he's waving at us. Hi Mom and Dad! In other news...the doctor is 85% sure we are having a little boy!!!!! We are thrilled! Of course, we won't know for sure for several more weeks, but it definitely looked like a little boy up on that screen!
